Have you installed a new graphics card to find out,

it needs power to it... 4pin, 6pin, 8pin,

2 x 6pin plugs and they are not on your power supply?

Try an adapter from your 4pin molex power plug...

still not working?  It very well may be

the adapter you purchased.

In some cases the 3rd positive wire,

( middle pin on 6 pin plug, not black...)

is not needed. A 5 wire 6pin PCI-E will work...

a 6 wire 6pin PCI-E plug will also work...

but when the 3rd positive is needed...
